Advisors are asked to run a practice, serve clients, and act as chief investment officer at the same time. The Axxcess investment team, led by CFA® charterholders, takes on the third role: model construction, manager selection, allocation, implementation, and ongoing oversight, as a fractional service that scales with your firm and is delivered through your brand.
Use one or both. The fractional portfolio manager does the work inside client accounts. The investment oversight committee gives your firm the documented process a regulator, a client, or an acquirer expects to see.
A model marketplace gives you someone else's portfolios with someone else's name on them. An outsourced CIO from Axxcess works the other way around: the models carry your firm's investment philosophy, the commentary goes out under your brand, and when a portfolio manager joins a client call, they join as part of your team. Your clients see one firm. Ours does the work behind it.
Talk to the teamWe document your investment philosophy, client segments, risk parameters, and constraints, then draft or review the investment policy statements that will govern each model.
Models are built to your policy from 400+ SMA and sleeve strategies, direct holdings, and third-party managers, with sleeve-level fee schedules and stress tests in the Axxcess Allocator.
Accounts are mapped to models and traded through the platform's trade order management. Rebalancing, cash management, and tax-lot handling follow the rules set in discovery.
Weekly oversight calls, quarterly committee meetings, watch list updates, manager reviews, and market commentary, with minutes and reports your firm keeps on file.
Model creation, allocation, implementation, and monitoring for every account, without hiring an investment team ahead of the revenue to support it.
A named portfolio manager who knows your models, joins your calls, and can sit with your clients when the conversation turns to markets.
Outsource trade order management and allocation entirely, so rebalances, contributions, and withdrawals are executed by the same team that built the models.
Investment decisions made and documented by a team of CFA® charterholders who have managed assets at global banks, fund managers, and family offices.
Pairs with the UMA/UMH platform for sleeve-level implementation and the alternatives platform when models call for private markets.
Jeff leads the fractional portfolio manager and investment oversight committee services and co-leads portfolio construction at Axxcess. He runs the weekly oversight calls, chairs model reviews with advisor teams, and joins client conversations when a firm wants its portfolio manager present. His career began on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
Contact JeffNo. The service starts with your investment philosophy and your policy statements. Your existing models can be reviewed, refined, and implemented as they are; new models are built to your specifications; or you can adopt models the Axxcess team maintains. Most firms use a combination.
Your firm. Market commentary, model documentation, and reports carry your brand. When a portfolio manager joins a client call, they are introduced as part of your investment team. Axxcess appears where regulation requires it and nowhere else.
The oversight committee service can plug into your existing structure: our team prepares the materials, joins your meetings, and keeps the minutes, while your committee retains its authority. Firms without a committee can have one stood up, with a charter and a cadence, as part of discovery.
Once accounts are mapped to models, the Axxcess trading team executes rebalances, contributions, withdrawals, and model changes through the platform's trade order management system, following the rules set during discovery. You approve the policy; the team runs the trades and documents them.
